Pine Manor College seeks a flexible, energetic and innovative librarian to manage all aspects of Access Services (Circulation, Reserves and Intra/Inter Library Loan). Reporting to the Library Director. Duties will also include reference and instructional services; participation in collection development and materials selection. Represents PMC on the WEBnet Circulation Committee. Occasional nights and weekends.

Qualifications: MLS; experience with SIRSI desirable. Ability to contribute to the mission of the college is essential. Excellent interpersonal skills, customer service skills, and pro-active service attitude also essential.

Head of Circulation, Goodnow Library, Sudbury, MA

Seeking an energetic, outgoing, and team oriented individual who enjoys supervising and working with others and serving the public. Provides and models superior customer service, interpersonal and problem solving skills.

Duties/Description: manage all adult circulation operations, schedules meeting room and performs reader advisory and other direct customer services in a busy department. As circulation supervisor, trains, evaluates and schedule adult part-time employees (8) and volunteers (10); assures effective communication of policies and procedures with staff and customers; represents library on appropriate MLN committees; and participates in collection development and PR responsibilities. As a member of the library management team, fosters teamwork among library departments and with Friends and other groups.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree; 3-5 years experience in automated circulation services in a public library. (Experience with III Millennium preferred.) Strong PC skills required. Demonstrated commitment to public service and staff development. Excellent interpersonal and training skills. Strong supervisory skills - at least two years supervisory experience desired. Knowledge of popular reading trends. Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with all age groups. Ability to prioritize, organize and manage a variety of duties efficiently and effectively.

Salary: $41,383-$52,123 (7 steps). 35 hour work week with a Saturday rotation -@ one-in-four. Full benefits.

Library Assistant II, Circulation Department, Belmont Public Library, Belmont, MA

Opening for a full-time position. Performs circulation desk duties; will check materials in, out and renew. Collect and record fees and fines, issue library cards, enter data, answer main desk telephone, place reserves and network transfers, notify patrons regarding item availability, sort and shelve materials, check and prepare overdue notices for mailing, create displays and perform assigned clerical tasks. May assist in training new employees, and represent the library in various committees. May perform supervisor's duties in his/her absence.

Requires a High School diploma, with one year customer service or library experience or equivalent.

The hourly rate range is $15.15 to $18.18, including benefits.
