Despite the corny hosts, Sue Special and Jim Jingle, the tutorial shows K-12 teachers how
to make effective presentations "in a dynamic slide show format" which can be
enhanced with "text, charts, graphs, sound effects and video." All tutorials may
be printed free of charge by nonprofit educational organizations (see guidelines under
Tutorials in Print). A good starting point to demonstrate the power of multimedia
presentations.

Epstein, Alex. (2001). Crafty
Screenwriting.
A graduate of UCLA's School of Film and Television, Epstein provides a realistic
introduction to screenwriting, including topics ranging from Basic Format and Basic Style
to Character Names, Dialogue, Flashbacks, and Using Songs and Music in Your Script.
Refreshingly, he advises against unnecessary bad language and explains his reasons in
terms most adolescents should understand. With humorous touches he also addresses the
commercial aspects of the business.
