American Library Association (ALA)

American Association of School Librarians (AASL)

Association of Library Service to Children (ALSC)
An ALA division for librarians serving children. ALSC is a network of over 3,700 children's and youth librarians, children's literature experts, and publishers committed to improving and ensuring the future of the nation through exemplary library service to children, their families, and others who work with children.

Children's Book Council (CBC)
CBC is a non-profit trade organization dedicated to encouraging literacy and the use and enjoyment of children's books, and is the official sponsor of Young People's Poetry Week and Children's Book Week each year. The Council's Members include U.S. publishers and packagers of trade books for children and young adults.
